Of all the species on earth, it is the human child that needs the most attention, love and care in order to realize a future of success and happiness. Since 1895, Scotland School for Veterans’ Children has been providing such care and consideration to each of the students who call or have called Scotland School “home.”

As children are our hope and our future, what better way to
prepare them to be successful members of society than by
providing them with a stable, challenging and nurturing
educational environment. At Scotland, we not only educate our
students, but we give them a comprehensive residential learning
and living environment which to grow and succeed.

As thousands of students now proudly call themselves
Scotland School Alumni, their reverence towards and debt
owed to the caring people who believed in them remains strong.

Each new student to Scotland School brings with them new needs,
new challenges, but ultimately, a deep desire to succeed. It is this
journey of triumph over tumult that brings a true sense of hope
to the Scotland School family. And in this hope, the futures
of Pennsylvania’s Veteran families are born again.
